Camping Trip to Starved Rock State Park
near Utica, IL
with Lisa and Mike
August 18 - August 20, 2005

We traveled a bit south to the Utica, IL area to visit Starved Rock State Park.  The place the started it all!  It's the first place Nancy and I RV camped (in a rented pop-up), back in October of 2003.  This time, we have an extra dog and Nancy's adult children, Mike and Lisa are with us.

Campground
Hickory Hollow Campground
This was our first time at Hickory Hollow Campground.  We stayed at the state park in 2003.  We were concerned that we may not find a spot long enough for the new trailer so we looked around.  And this campground came with great recommendations from a friend and from a Heartland forum member.
