I purchased this generator to use when camping when shore power is not available or has failed. It will also be nice to have at home if we ever lose power for an extended period. I will be using it to power my air compressor when on the road as well.

I store this generator in my under-the-rail tool chest in the bed of my truck. I ordered the Honda Marine cover with the generator and I put the cover on before I set the unit in the tool chest. By storing the generator in my truck and not in my trailer, whenever I am in need of power, assuming I have my truck with me, I will be all set.
