Lunch in Memphis and Presentation to Camping World

Wednesday,  April 16th
Turns out my boss at Heartland, Coley B and our Bighorn/Silverado GM, Kary K were to be in Memphis today to present to the Southeast Region GMs of Camping World.

Hey, we’ll be in Memphis too!   Coley invited me to join them, so I prepared a hand-out and a couple PowerPoint slides for the Heartland Owners Forum and Heartland Owners Club.  Before the presentation, Nancy and I met Coley and Kary on Beale Street for lunch.  I chose Blues City Cafe as they were open for lunch, Coley wanted BBQ and theirs is decent.

Got out of my "camping wear" and cleaned up for a business presentation. Hair cut and face shaven even :)

After lunch, I ran Nancy back to the RV at Tom Sawyers RV Park across the Mississippi River in West Memphis, AR. It’s 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Memphis. Then I met up with Coley and Kary at the Doubletree Hotel. Around 4:30 pm, we presented to the Camping World group. What a great bunch of GMs. I enjoyed getting a chance to tell them about the forum and the club and I’m confident that many of them see the partnership possibilities.

It was a gorgeous day in the area today. When I got back to the RV, I took Emme for a walk in the grass along the mighty Mississippi river. She really enjoyed getting out for a bit.
