On New Years Day, Nancy and I picked Lisa and Mike up at the train station downtown, then met up with Mike and his college friend Robert at the Museum of Science and Industry.

This week was Robert’s first visit to Chicago.  He and Mike went downtown on New Years Eve and we figured a visit to this museum would be interesting for him as well.

We spent a couple of hours at the new RV/Motorhome Hall of Fame Museum this afternoon. It was our first time here at it’s new home. Very nice building. There was a new collection here that we had not seen at the old location. The David Woodworth historic RV collection is quite varied and a great addition to the museum.
I was especially enamored with the Star Streak II - a Cadillac based RV. The craftsmanship on this unit is unbelievable. If you get a chance to visit this museum, don’t pass it up. It’s worth the $8 to see it. It is located on CR 17 just south of I-80 in the NE corner of Elkhart, Indiana.
