Ruby is still recovering from her knee surgery so we brought the doggy stroller. Been strolling the g We ate dinner Friday night at Brasserie JO. We ate outdoors and the girls were able to join us. We just removed a chair from our table and put their stroller there. The restaurant brought out a dog bowl of water and a half-pound of beef tartar for the girls. They loved it! Saturday nigh we ate at Bella Bacino’s, an Italian restaurant in the Club Quarters Hotel building on Wacker Drive. The food quality and portion was great for the price. Nancy had Veal Saltimbocca and I had a nice Frutti del Mare. We ate in their outdoor al fresco dining are and we’re able to bring the girls with us again. We left them in their stroller and parked them between two larger flower planters. Worked out well. We had a nice time Saturday walking the River Walk and the lake front. We spent much of the day at Navy Pier too. Nice day. Later, we had lunch at the Wave Hotel on Lakeshore Drive. They have some outside tables and dogs are welcome. The girls were good and so was the food. Moderately priced and tasty.
All in all, we had a great weekend, the girls had a great weekend and we got a ton of walking in. |
