We had a second beautiful day in Seattle today.  Weather was perfect.  We plan to do the Seattle Ducks in the morning and then get on our cruise ship (Holland America) for the Inside Passage of Alaska.

I never really tire of seafood but the smell of Q led me to the Longhorn Outpost BBQ joint for lunch today.  The pulled pork sandwich was fabulous.

Well, a few weeks ago we got a Nintendo Wii. The redhead with the print shirt, that’s my Mii.

Nancy and I decided months ago to travel somewhere warm and inexpensive for the Christmas holiday. Using frequent flyer miles, we were able to get free air fare and hotel in Las Vegas. We came to be warm, see some nice shows and visit friends in nearby Henderson.
Well, the inexpensive - got that one right. The warm - not so much : ( This is a week after their big 8″-10″ snow storm. Been in the 40s during the days here. Rain on one day as well.
Oh well - we’ve still had a nice time. We went to the Cirque du Soleil - LOVE show based on the music of the Beatles, Phantom of the Opera and the Hoover Dam.

Who cares - right? Not me. But Nancy advised this stop was not optional. I guess Zappos is the largest online shoe store. This is their Outlet store. So we stopped. I quickly found the man-sofa :)

Nancy needed her fix! Took her to Aurelios Pizza in Addison, IL after church today. One of several things we miss about Addison. Man is this pizza good!

Well, we have a new brand of cheese in the house and boy is it yumo! Nancy began working for Bel Brands USA this week and we’ve been looking for and buying the product at retail. Good stuff. I really like the Laughing Cow Garlic flavor. Try it!
